Sweet Azza Sdn Bhd

Initially known as Azza Culinary Academy, it was founded on 16 September 1998 to conduct cooking classes and supply delicacy ingredients.

In 2003, Sweet Azza Sdn Bhd was established to conduct and carry on existing activities. Currently, Sweet Azza Sdn Bhd is offering these services, as below:

 
Perform cooking demonstrations and act as a cooking ambassador;
 
Function as a cooking programme co-ordinator;
 
Conduct cooking programmes in local TV stations such as RTM, TV3, TV9, ASTRO, AWANI and
 
Provide special catering services for VIPs.

Sweet Azza Sdn Bhd was given the privilege to co-ordinate a cooking programme, Jom Masak Bersama Sri Murni from 2004 - 2006 for TV3, as well as participated in Nasi Goreng Floral Competition (10 episodes) in 2006.


Chef Liza Zainol - 50-Hour Non-stop Cooking Event at Medan MARA

In conjunction with the country's 50 Years of Merdeka, Sweet Azza Sdn Bhd was awarded the Certificate of Acknowledgement from Malaysia Book of Records for participating in the 50-Hour non-stop cooking event in 2007.


The MARA Entrepreneur Incubator Confectionary Programme in 2006

Sweet Azza Sdn Bhd was also appointed as the Consultant in the Entrepreneur Incubator Confectionary Programme organised by MARA Entrepreneur Development. Held at Sweet Azza Academy, the classes focused on making bread, cakes and pastries.

Sweet Azza Academy aims to become the premier cooking academy that nurtures successful bumiputera entrepreneurs.

Equipped with the expertise, Sweet Azza Academy is led by Chef Liza Zainol herself, and assisted by her children and family members as well as a group of staff. Behind the workforce at Sweet Azza Academy is her daughter, Chef Erin Zainol, who has vast experiences working at a five-star hotel.

Sweet Azza Academy conducts various cooking classes / courses such as bread making, cake baking, cake decorations (butter cream and sugar craft), pastries, biscuits as well as traditional Malay delicacies, Western cuisine, providing catering services for individuals, clubs, associations, civil servants and private organisations at reasonable rates.

Sweet Azza Academy also supplies confectionery tools such as oven, machine and other necessities to participants / students to set-up bakeries.

Currently, at Sweet Azza Academy, there are more than 4000 students nationwide and worldwide, including participants from Saudi Arabia, India, Indonesia, Australia and the United Kingdom.

To date, Sweet Azza has four branches that are identified as Sweet Azza Confectionery; at Rawang and Ampang, Selangor, Melaka and Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur.
